About the author

While W.K. pursued a career in science, his first love was a good story---novels, comics, video games, anime, mythology, and anything of the like. 

After pursuing a career in the field of biochemistry and nanomedicine for the last decade or so, W.K. has now finally put pen to paper to write the fantasy stories occupying the far corners of his mind. And while he loves wide, sprawling epics, he also believes there is currently an untapped niche of readers longing for more concise fantasy stories (think of something akin to what Will Wight has done in the recent past). 

Thus, The First Matter Saga was born, with more to come.
